Because prayer is essential to the life of the Church we have set aside every
Wednesday evening for corporate prayer.
Our prayer services begin with a challenge from the Bible. We follow the challenge
from the Word with prayer requests and praises for answered prayer. Prayer meeting
is closed by the Body spending time together in prayer.
We invite you to come and share with us during this most critical hour of the week as
the saints of God, in corporate fellowship, call upon the name of the Lord.
Acts 2:42
They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles' teaching and to
fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.
Ephesians 6:18
With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on
the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints.
Philippians 4:6
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving
let your requests be made known to God.
1st Timothy 2:8
Therefore I want the men in every place to pray, lifting up holy hands, without wrath
and dissension.
“Men and women are at their noblest and best when they are on their knees before
God in prayer. To pray is not only to be truly godly; it is also to be truly human. For
here are human beings, made by God like God and for God, spending time in
fellowship with God. So prayer is an authentic activity in itself, irrespective of any
benefits it may bring us. Yet it is also one of the most effective of all means of grace.
I doubt if anybody has ever become at all Christ like who has not been diligent in
prayer”
